After two stints at WCMH in Columbus, Anchor/Reporter Beth Dal Ponte is leaving the station for a second time.

FTVLive obtained the internal email sent out by ND David Ciliberti, telling the staff that Dal Ponte is leaving to....say it with me....spend more time with her family.

Here's the internal email:

News Team,

As we start a new year, I’m sad to say, Beth Dalponte has decided to step away from broadcasting and focus her energy on her family. As most of you know, this is her second stint with us and she will be missed.

She’s done just about every job in the newsroom, including: traffic, anchoring and reporting. I’m told when she did traffic in the newsroom, she used an expensive ODOT barrel as a prop (I wish I could have seen that).

Phil remembers her awesome reporting in storm coverage. Ellie recalls working with Beth during Nora’s debut and how it was like a presidential visit. Jason remembers her always making slot (he was her photographer of course).

She always had a smile on her face and willing to do anything to help the station.

Her last day is Sunday 1/29.
