Sacramento Anchor Headed to Atlanta

KOVR's Ron Jones has been with the Sacramento station for the past dozen years. 

Word is he wanted to stay in Sac town, but the station would not make him a decent offer. So Jones is packing up and heading to Atlanta.

He will be the Weekend Anchor at WXIA in Atlanta. 

Before getting into TV news, Jones worked as officer for the Oakland Police Department. 

KOVR has lost a number of on air people recently as the station continues to lowball talent when their contracts come up.
