Longtime Anchor Yolanda Harris has signed off from WSYX in Columbus last night.

Harris told viewers yesterday's newscast was her last at the station.

"This is my last newscast and now I'm going to take some time for myself and prepare for my next adventure," Harris said in her sign off.

Her goodbye message was pre-recorded and not broadcast live.

“Yolanda’s departure marks the end of an era for Columbus television”, commented Jamie Justice, News Director at WSYX “Yolanda has contributed so much to our stations; we are sad to see her go”.

But, is it really the end of an era for Columbus television?

Sources tell FTVLive that Harris has been talking to WBNS across the street and many think this will be her landing spot.

"I'm not signing off, I'm just saying goodbye for now," Harris said in her last message to viewers.

Don't be surprised when WBNS announces that Harris has joined their station.

Stay tuned....
