Nexstar Could Take Control of Media General Stations This Month

The day many Media General employees have been dreading might be closer than they think.
Sources tell FTVLive that Nexstar has sent an internal email to the GM's at Media General stations with a show ending animation attached to the email. The animation is the show close for the newscast that includes the Nexstar copyright.
Nexstar has advised the GM's to have the show close loaded and ready to go. The company believes that the deal will be closed by the end of the month and possibly in the next two weeks.
Media General staffers have heard all the horror stories about Nexstar and it appears that within the next week or so, they are about to live that story out.
