Leaving the Firm

Longtime DC Anchor Laura Evans is leaving Fox O&O  WTTG in a couple of weeks. 

Evans has been with the station almost two decades and signs off on December 2nd. “I am proud to have been part of such an awesome team of creative and motivated journalists,” she said. As for details about her new gig, she said only that it “involves my passions and will make a difference in our community.”

She is not saying what she is doing next. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Evans had year left on her contract when she decided to walk.
