AT&T Says it will Not Mess with CNN

It is a loooooong way from being a done deal, but AT&T's announcement that it is buying Time Warner, means it would also own CNN.
Some are hoping that if old ma bell takes over CNN, it will turn in back into a cable news channel and not the mess that it is today.
AT&T CEO Randall Stephenson said in an email to Journalist, that he has no plans to make drastic changing to the network. "Ensuring the public that CNN remains independent from an editorial perspective is critical," Stephenson said. Talking about CNN, he said it's, "an American symbol of independent journalism and First Amendment free speech."
Ummmm.... It's obvious that Stephenson has wasn't CNN in years.
