FTVLive says the hell with that!

Let's do the Worst Person of the year.

But before we do, let's look back shall we.

2013 will go down a big year for FTVLive.com and for me as well. After thinking about taking this website out from behind the paywall for years, I finally got up the nerve to do it in 2013.

On February 4 on this year, FTVLive was free at last....free at last...thank God almighty we were free at last.

There is no way this would have happened without the encouragement of the awesome companies that support this site. As I have said before, when I thought about taking FTVLive from behind the paywall, I reached out to the best of the best in TV News. I asked them to help sponsor this site and they stepped up. They are the reason you can read this site without jumping through the paywall to do so.

From February 4 until Today, I took off a total of 2 1/2 days. I worked days, nights, weekends, holidays, sick days and even overnights updating this site. I knew the way for FTVLive to be a success, I had to pour everything I had into this site.

Traffic for FTVLive grew each and every week. Each week when we set a traffic record, we thought there is no way would could beat those numbers the next week.....but we did! We beat the prior week every week and that in itself impressed me more than anything.

I got countless emails from people saying how much they find themselves going to this website. A network President emailed and said that he finds himself checking FTVLive at least 4 times a day. I get emails over and over from people saying how much the love and rely on FTVLive to give them the "real" story of what is going on in this crazy business.

Inside the office of our competitors, meetings were held and staff was told "FTVLive is kicking our ass." Sites that employed a number of people, wondered how a one person website was beating them and doing so often? There is no question that the jealously of our competitors runs very high.

FTVLive has made it a point to highlight the good as well as the bad in TV News. Our goal is to praise those that deserve it and call out those that don't.

Looking back at the year that was, let's point out the Good, the Bad and the Ugly.

Our favorite people in 2013: Robin Meade (of course you knew the list would start with her), Greta Van Susteren, Hoda Kotb, Kathie Lee Gifford, Kristine Johnson, Chris Wragge, Jenni Hogan, Dayna Roselli, Teal Jennings, Jason DeRusha, Andrew Kirell, Dorothy Lucy, Jennifer Gould, Scott Walker, Jean Martinez, Peter Dunn, Mike Costa, Spud, Johnny Dollar, Amber Mac, Robert Feder, Mike McGuff, Brian Lewis, Roxanne Evans and many many more.

Time for the bad: AJ Clemente, Geraldo Rivera, Piers Morgan, Larry Connors, Bill Ransom, Rob Morrison and a few more.

Now onto the moment you've been waiting for...... FTVLive's Worst Person of the Year.

I'll be honest, AJ Clemente made a great last minute effort to become FTVLive's WPOTY (worst person of the year) with his comments he made last week. But, sadly it was not enough to win him the award.

The WPOTY goes to a person that is not good at their job and outright lied to FTVLive. I know, you're thinking that could be a number of people and you're right.

But, there is one person that really stood out and when given the chance to correct it, never owned up and did so.
