Al Roker Visits White House without Crapping Himself

r-AL-ROKER-large570.jpg

Sometimes, it's the little things that count.

Today, NBC Al Roker visited the White House and we're happy to report, he didn't shit his pants.

Back in January, while pimping his new book, Roker admitted that he "pooped his pants" while visiting the WH. This happened after suffering some complications from surgery he had to help him lose weight.

This time Roker was in DC to help out in the White House Easter egg roll and is underwear stayed (basically) clean.

The most hated man in America, Matt Lauer was back at 30 Rock interviewing Chris Brown...the second most hated man in America.

No word if Lauer crapped his pants during the interview.

OK... Yes the Brian Williams Story was a Joke (but many of you fell for it)

nn_03sg_dg_xtalk_120904.video-260x195.jpg

FTVLive's story this morning that NBC Anchor Brian Williams was going to co-host the Today Show and anchor NBC Nightly News for the May book was our entry into the April Fools joke pool.

We thought that it was fairly clear after the first paragraph or so that it was a joke.

I mean, dropping Lauer off in the middle of Afghanistan with no crew or no money isn't something NBC would do.

Wait....maybe it is.

OK..... theAl Roker hiding Twinkie's and HoHo's is totally believable, but Hoda and Kathie Lee hiding the hard liquor in a cubby in Studio 1A? Everyone knows that the booze is locked up in their dressing room.

When Juan Carlos Fanjul left WGN in Chicago to become and anchor at WPEC in West Palm Beach, many (most likely including him) thought he was going to be the next main anchor at the station.

It didn't work out that way.

BaBa WaWa: I have Nothing to Annouce

Barbara Walters went on The View Today and addressed the rumors that she was going to retire.

She says she has nothing to announce about her reported retirement. But it seems she was a bit miffed that someone might have stolen her thunder.

“Nothing is going on. Even though our programs have been original, they have been taped, so we have not commented. There were many reports last week saying that I was retiring from ABC, and there was an assumption that I would be making an announcement today,” Walters said.

CNN to Run their Own Version of "The Five"

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, then Fox News should be really flattered.

CNN ready to do a knock-of FNC's "The Five" but without the Right Wingers.

The show will be called "(Get To) The Point" and will replace the 10:00 p.m. rerun of Anderson Cooper's show, "AC360."

The panelist on the new show will be Margaret Hoover, Donny Deutsch, Rick Reilly, Jason Taylor and others.

CNN claims "(Get To) The Point" is just a temporary show to fill some holes while they work in their new schedule.

Obviously if it shows any ratings life at all, look for it to find a spot on the schedule.

Some Think Karma is Finally Biting Leno in the Ass

Some Think Karma is Finally Biting Leno in the Ass

Is Jay Leno finally getting what he deserves?

It looks that way, at least to some comedians that think Leno "sold out" years ago for the chance to do the Tonight Show.

The NY Daily News writes that the end game likely will leave Leno in tears, but he’ll be crying into a pile of money, and really, I can think of too many people to count who would gladly endure far worse humiliations for even a fraction of Jay’s mountain of gold.

Pennsylvania Station's Wethercast is Highjacked

Pennsylvania Station's Wethercast is Highjacked

TV stations love to tell you how important the weather forecast is and they pay millions for equipment and promos saying their weather is the best.

Yet, stations will let actors, comedians and even animals do the forecast.

Fox 43 in Lancaster, PA had on Bronson Pinchot, who played Balki on the show 'Perfect Strangers.'

Balki is 53 years old now and looks nothing like he used to and from what we saw on Fox 43, he's still not funny either.
