The Tampa Bay Times writes that the first moments of Good Morning America kicked off the celebration that would fill the program all day, as staffers and guests celebrated the return of anchor Robin Roberts after a five-month break to treat a rare blood disorder.

This morning WCBS Anchor Rob Morrison "Resigned" from his job at WCBS. But, we are now learning more about the night police clamped the cuffs on him.
The NY Post reports that an allegedly "extremely inebriated," "belligerent" Morrison was arrested early Sunday morning at the million-dollar Darien home where he lives with Ashley and their son after Ashley's worried mom called cops and reported a domestic disturbance there.
“I can’t go home tonight man, I’m fucking killing her!” a vodka-fueled Morrison, 44, slurred to a cop booking him Sunday for allegedly throttling Ashley, according to the police report.

Police say that WSET Weatherman Jamey Singleton was eating breakfast in his car while he was driving. Never a good combination.
Cops say Singleton driving northbound on Route 122 when he crossed the center line and hit a delivery truck head on in Bedford County.
Singleton was cut out of his car and airlifted to Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

“Rob Morrison announced today that he has resigned his position as a CBS 2 news anchor, effective immediately.
Morrison stated, “My family is my first and only priority right now and I have informed CBS 2 management that I need to put all of my time and energy into making sure that I do what’s best for my wife and my son. I very much appreciate the opportunity that CBS 2 has given me and I thank them for accepting my decision.””
Staff Meeting Called at WCBS / Morrison Out!

FTVLive FIRST told you this morning that Rob Morrisson was going to be out at WCBS after his arrest.
Now word comes that WCBS has called an all hands on deck meeting at 12:30PM. Word is the staff will be told that Morrison "Resigned" this morning.
As FTVLive FIRST reported, News Director David Friend had already quietly starting looking for Morrison's replacement. It appears that search won't have to be so quiet now.

WKMG in Orlando has hired a new Reporter that starts at the station on Monday.
His Dad is an Anchor at the station across the street.
WKMG hired Justin Warmoth, the son of WFTV anchor Greg Warmoth.
“I have great respect for Greg Warmoth,” WKMG General Manager Skip Valet said to the Orlando Sentinel. “Clearly Justin has grown up with a solid broadcaster as a role model. Justin’s intelligence, energy and ability earned him this opportunity.”

We bought P-90X and renamed it P-3 C-Ya...after 3 days we never found the time or the drive to move onto day 4.

Sources tell FTVLive that Rob Morrison is done at WCBS and that News Director David Friend has already quietly been talking about his replacement.
Of course, none of that is official...yet.
It is likely that WCBS will let the case wind it's way through the court system and then at some point you will likely see that Morrison "resigns" from the station. But that could be weeks from now, when all the heat has cooled down a bit.
