WGN in Chicago is going to expand their weekend morning news starting next month. 

The station announced that the live two-hour weekend morning newscast will launch on September 10 from 7-9am, changing from its original time of 6-7am, and will feature the latest news, weather, sports and other special features.

Tonya Francisco is being promoted to anchor from general assignment reporter for WGN.

Sean Lewis joined CLTV in March 2007 and WGN in June 2008.  He has been anchoring WGN Saturday Morning News and WGN Sunday Morning News since its launch in October 2010.
