Sources are telling FTVLive that a reporter at WPLG is leaving.

Christina Vazquez, who created PLG's "Call Christina" consumer franchise, is reportedly leaving for a job in PR, according to a note from ND Bill Pohovey. It's an odd move given that Vazquez just grabbed some Emmy's and sources say the franchise is one of the most popular on the station's air.

Word is, Vazquez is headed to the Perez Art Museum as head of media relations.

It's bizarre to us why the station would allow this to happen, but if we're taking bets, we'd say it's not the end of TV for Vazquez.
