Back in March, FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that KJRH Reporter Gitzel Puente was arrested by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol for speeding and assault and battery on a police officer, resisting arrest and obstruction. 

The assaulting a cop is a felony, but as the case winds its way through the court system, it appears that the felony charges are being dropped and Puente is being charged with only misdemeanors.

Sources tell FTVLive that the police video of her arrest shows Puente cursing and yelling I'm a reporter!" at the officer.  The video also shows her clearly having physical contact with the officer.

Yet, somehow the felony charges were knocked down. Puente continues to report at the Scripps station, which seems to have no problem with he arrest and what the video shows.
