MSNBC's Matthews Was Scared of Trump Supporters
MSNBC's Chris Matthews was about as welcome at the RNC as Gretchen Carlson at a Roger Ailes' birthday party.
The liberal host of Hardball took his show to Cleveland, but he was scared that the Trump supporters might lash out.
“On Day 1 of the convention, he was worried that some crazy Trump supporter would grab him. He was screaming, ‘There’s not enough security!’ and yelling at his boss,” an insider told Page Six. “He was worried about being on the floor of the convention and demanded to be put up in a booth away from the crowd.”
MSNBC denied the claims, but it sure appears that Matthews was proposing the idea of some sort of wall between him and the Trump people.
Hmmmmm...a wall....that sounds familiar.
