Columbus Anchor Gone, No One Talking
TV news is a business of communication. A business that does very well of not communicating when it is about one of their own.
Back in December of 2013, FTVLive told you that WCMH in Columbus was happy to announced that they had hired Duane Pohlman, an Investigative Reporter at WLKY in Louisville as their new Anchor.
Pohlman anchored the station's 5PM newscast and was the "lead" Investigative Reporter.
Recently Pohlman has gone missing from the station's newscasts and not a word has been said. His bio remains on the WCMH website, but he is nowhere in the building.
A call to the station confirms that Pohlman no longer works there, but there is no other information.
Pohlman has left this cryptic message on his Twitter:
It's the lack of communication in the communications business that never ceases to amaze us.
