When word came down of another awful police shooting, this time in Baton Rouge, the media turned their attention to another tragedy.

Unfortunately, this scenario is being played out over and over again. 

When word came down that the Baton Rouge police officers were gunned down, Fox News media critic Howard Kurtz tweeted out this: 

Really?! I don't know about you, but any police officer's death is heartbreaking. Whether the officers were targeted, or killed responding to a crime, either one is awful.
