Just in case Cable news' 24/7 coverage of Donald Trump, just isn't quite enough, a DC station is launching an election newscast.

You know, because there just hasn't been that much coverage of the Presidential race so far. 

Fox's WTTG says they are going to launch the election themed newscast Called 5 @ 6:30 on Juky 18th.

The newscast will focus mainly on 2016 elections coverage, but will also cover timely local stories. 

“This election is unlike any we have ever seen. It deserves unconventional and original political reporting,” said WTTG News Director Paul McGonagle.

Enjoy the new newscast, as for me, I'm not turning on another newscast until the second week in November.
