FTVLive is spending the day telling you the worst TV markets to work in. It's time to kick off the list with the 5th worst TV market.

Coming in at No. 5 is Erie, PA.

Let's face it, Erie is Cleveland without a basketball team, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and a decent place to eat. 

The ownership groups in Erie are awful, the pay is bad and the Winters suck. Other than that, it's not so bad. Yeah really it is. You know it's bad when the best place to eat is Olive Garden. The city has been losing population for years and the young people are packing up and leaving.

As for a news town? When is the last time you can remember any story out of Erie?

Exactly. 

Stations are run on a shoestring budget and people are asked to do more work for less pay than ever before. 

The only good thing we can say about Erie is rent is fairly cheap.
