In what has to be a bigger setback for the CW network than WGN, it is expected to be announced that WGN and The CW are parting ways.

Robert Feder says that the CW Network will move this fall from Tribune's WGN to Fox-owned WPWR.

The switch is expected to be announce today and while it would seem that a station losing their network affiliation would be a huge deal.

Let's be honest, we're talking about The CW here. 

It's likely this is have little impact on WGN.
