Sweeps vs Facts?
It's no secret that stations amp up their game during sweeps periods, but a station in North Dakota is being accused of creating fear where there is none.
KVLY-TV in Fargo, recently did a story about the increase of tuberculosis due to refugee resettlement. Their angle, "Could kindness be bad for your health"? But health officials in North Dakota and Minnesota say that's not true; any refugees are medically screened before they enter the US.
