This morning, FTVLive told you that WOIO in Cleveland is hiring WEWS Weather Anchor Jason Nicholas as their new Chief Meteorologist. Although the station has not announced anything. 

That isn't the only new hire the station is making. 

WATE (Knoxville) Reporter is joining WOIO as an MMJ later next month.

Here is the internal email sent out to the staff (and obtained by FTVLive) from News Director Fred D'Ambrosi:

I am pleased to announce we have hired Shelby Miller as our newest Reporter/MMJ.
 
Shelby comes to us from WATE in Knoxville, Tennessee where she was a morning anchor/reporter, but she is a Michigan native. (Don’t worry.  She went to Central Michigan University not that other school).  
 
Her first day will be June 20th, just in time to help us cover a CAVS championship parade! 

If Fred thinks the Cavs have a chance against Golden State, he might be need a wake up call.
