San Diego Reporter Talks About the Day she Almost Died on the Job
It's been two months since a eucalyptus tree drastically changed the life of KGTV Reporter Marie Coronel.
Coronel and a Photographer Mike Gold were covering a story on storm cleanup, when a large tree came crashing down on both of them. Coronel was severely injured and had to undergo a number of operations.
Two months later, she is still a long way to go before being fully recovered, but she is making progress.
She talked to her her old station WTKR about what she has been through and the morning she almost died covering the news.
