After a video surfaced, KABC says they are now investigating the action of one of their News Photographers. 

The Shooter was caught on video  calling Armenians “thug-type idiots,” when interviewing two Turks who were part of a counter protest at the Turkish Consulate in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The video was posted by Ergun Kirlikovali, the former president of the Assembly of Turkish American Associations, who was being interviewed by the KABC cameraman, identified in the video as Tim. “I’ve noticed you guys are pretty peaceful back here and holding your ground. I haven’t tried to talk to them because most of them are like thug-type idiots,” says KABC Photog. 

The video was posted to YouTube, the Photogs comments can be heard at 5:12 on the video:

The video was brought to the attention of KABC on Facebook. The station answered one FB post, saying they are looking into the matter.
