Fired Tribune Employee Sentenced to Two Years in Hacking Case

When Matthew Keys got fired from Tribune owned KTXL in Sacramento, he did not take it very well. 

Federal prosecutors say Keys a disgruntled employee and he provided the hacking group Anonymous, the passwords to break into the Los Angeles Times’ website and alter a story. 

Yesterday, a judge sentenced Keys to two years in prison for his role. Keys, who calls himself a digital journalist says that he will appeal the sentence.
