How I Work - Kendis Gibson

It's time for another one of FTVLive's very popular "How I Work" features. We take a look at people in and around TV news and ask them how they work?

Today, we head over to ABC News and check in with Kendis Gibson. Kendis is a National Correspondent with ABC News based in Washington DC and New York. Lately you have been able to catch him Anchoring the news early mornings at ABC.

Before going network, Gibson worked coast to coast in local news, including stops in San Diego and Washington, DC.

FTVLive found how, how he works.

What are your favorite Apps that you can't live without?

Instagram, Facebook currency converter (part of a weird travel obsession I have). Duolingo, my language learning app

What's your workspace like?

Very organized and zen. Low lighting. Some candles. A vinyl record player that I use every night that I get in to the office. Several model planes, for my avgeek fix. I'm not a fan of chaos. So everything has a place in the office.

Besides your phone and computer, what gadget can't you live without?

My Roku. It travels with me. I can bring my movies or workouts and plug it into any hotel tv or home and sort of have a home a way from
home.

What Music are you listening to?

Lately I've really been listening to Bieber's latest album, Adele, I'm into international music in languages I barely understand.. Including Colombian singer Maluma and Brazilian artist Anitta

What's your sleep routine like?

Regimented. I have to be in the office at 10pm every night. So I go to sleep at 1pm. Usually turning off all electronics an hour prior. Melatonin is my friend

Best Advice you Ever Got?

Meditate and begin a daily gratitude routine. Life changing.
