Why is that many TV Reporters that encounter stray dogs, just don't help the poor dog?

Fox 13 (Memphis) Reporter Earle Farrell was trying to go live when a stay dog came up to him. The dog would not leave Farrell alone and he could not do his live shot.

Maybe the dog wanted some help and maybe the news crew should have given it to him.

Just saying....
