Diane Sawyer Lands an Interview Newsies Have Been Chasing for Years
It took 17 years, but ABC's Diane Sawyer has finally landed an interview that many in the media have been chasing all that time.
On Friday's 20/20, Sawyer sits down withSue Klebold, the mother of Columbine High School shooter Dylan Klebold.
It will be the first time that Klebold will speak publicly about the shooting.
So why is Klebold breaking her silence now? Becuase she wrote a book and this will kick off a media tour to promote it. The book, “A Mother’s Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy” comes out next week.
Dylan Klebold was one of the shooters, along with Eric Harris, responsible for killing 13 people and injuring 24 others in the school shooting in Colorado on April 20, 1999.
