Two years ago, Denetra Walker was bumped up to Assistant News Director gig at WIS, the NBC affiliate in Columbia, S.C.

Walker had been at EP at the station.

Now, she has is done as the Deuce. Walker signed off from the station for parts unknown.

WIS Anchor Judi Gatson wrote about Walker's leaving on her Facebook page, "We are going to miss working with her everyday at WIS TV! When people from all the other departments in the station show up for your farewell, you know you 'done good!'"

Or, maybe it's because they knew there would be cake.
