WZVN (Ft. Myers) chief meteorologist John Patrick got his panties in a bunch when a WINK started airing promos that they had the most accurate weather forecast. 

Patrick took to Facebook and bashed WINK for making that claim and said that he had scientific proof that his forecast was the most accurate. 

He pointed to the research company Weather Rate as his proof that his forecast was the most accurate. 

He posted this video to Facebook:

What Patrick should have pointed out is that his station shells out big bucks to Weather Rate so they can make that claim on air and in print. 

This is a place where full disclosure would have been a good idea.
