WIVB Sports Anchor Lauren Brill is leaving the station at the end of the month.

Brill, who came to the CBS affiliate three years, hasn’t announced her departure. However, the station is advertising for a sports anchor and reporter on its website and a source confirmed the opening is for her job.

According to the source, Brill made the decision to leave before WIVB had to a chance to decide whether to keep her when her contract expired in August.

It is unclear if she has another job just yet.

With Brill's departure, only weekday sports anchor Steve Vesey will be left on the station's sports staff until her replacement is found.
