Sources are telling FTVLive that WCBS has canned assistant ND, Valerie Feder.

Feder has been the #2 there for eight years. Previously, she was an EP for reality and scripted shows and an EP at KABC.

No word on why Feder was shown the door; but now someone else has to do schedules, so it couldn't have been a casual decision.
