This morning, FTVLive FIRST told you about more people getting shown the door at Sinclair owned WJLA in DC.

That includes Sports Director Tim Brant. Brant sent out an email to co-workers saying that he could not come to terms on a new contract.

Insiders tell FTVLive that WJLA is going to hire Larry Smith (pictured) former CNN/HLN Sports Anchor. But, don't look for Smith to replace Brant.

Our sources say that Smith is being hired as the new morning News Anchor at WJLA in DC.
