Matt Lauer Callas Out Ellen DeGeneres for 50 Shades Spoof
Matt Lauer had a bone to pick with Ellen DeGeneres.
Last time viewers saw the "Today" show host on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," he was dressed in head to toe bondage gear as a part of a "Fifty Shades of Grey" spoof.
"I have not yet decided if we are on speaking terms," Lauer, who was a guest on Thursday's episode, told DeGeneres.
"Yes we are. Listen, hey. Wasn't it fun and funny?" she replied.
"We showed a little clip of Matt doing an interview for 'Fifty Shades of Grey.' We doctored it just a tiny bit. Just a little bit," DeGeneres said.
If you didn't see the video:
"I've made a lot a lot of new friends. Thank you very much. So to the people like @RoughAndReady and @I'veBeenAVeryBadGirl," Lauer joked.
DeGeneres continued to tease him over the fact that the craftiness of her staff actually lead people to believe he really conducted the interview in leather garb.
"You can't believe how many people tweeted me and said, ‘You're supposed to be a journalist. How can you dress in leather, especially S&M?’ So, thank you," Lauer saracastically said.
"Revenge is a dish best served cold," he warned his fellow host.
By the way, Ellen also included Al Roker in on the spoof.
Thanks for the nightmares Ellen.
