Kit Kat Reporter Lands News Director Job
For the last two years, FTVLive has posted about WRIC (Richmond) Reporter Nate Eaton who has measured the snow with different size Kit Kat bars.
Well he might need to get some bigger bars because Eaton is headed to Idaho for what he calls a "once in a lifetime opportunity." Which might be the first time that phrase has ever been used by someone moving to Idaho.
Eaton posted this message to the station's website:
"After six amazing years, I’m sad to announce that I’m leaving WRIC 8News. It seems like just yesterday that I arrived and instantly fell in love with this beautiful place.
It would take a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to pull me away from Richmond – and that’s just what I’ve been offered. I’m going to be the news director/chief anchor for Riverbend Communications in Idaho and will help launch some innovate media projects .
My family and I will miss so many things – most importantly, my 8News colleagues and YOU. Fortunately – we’ll be back often (my wife’s family is from here) and my last day isn’t until Wednesday. Until then, I put together a little video with some of the memorable stories I’ve covered over the years. http://youtu.be/EbqdnOK5a5Y
You’ve been great, RVA!"
Maybe he can use potatoes to measure the snow when he gets there.
Just saying....
