Lester Holt Holds On

NBC's Lester Holt won another week, but the ratings race just got a lot more tight.

NBC won the race in total viewers, but only 17,000 separated the Peacock from ABC.

 NBC averaged 8.506 million to ABC's 8.489. "CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley" ranked third with 7.248 million.

The demo race also tighten up. In the 25-to-54 age group, NBC averaged 1.978 million to ABC's 1.937 million and CBS' 1.719 million. So only 41,000 million separated NBC and ABC.

In the 18-to-49 age group last week, the race was close as well. NBC averaged 1.403 million viewers to ABC's 1.287 million and CBS' 1.203 million.
