Instead of reporting the news, WFRV Reporter Evan Kruegel decided to waste 3 minutes of viewers time with a sappy on air marriage proposal that drives us here at FTVLive right up the wall.

For some reason Kruegel thinks he is important enough and that viewers care enough that he asked his girlfriend Rachel to marry him. 

"Rachel, you made me promise to you that I would never propose to you on a jumbotron at a sporting event, but you never said anything about live TV," Evan said. 

Rachel shocked Kruegel and viewers when she said, "No".

God we only wish.
