Charlie Sheen on Today
As FTVLive told you yesterday, actor Charlie Sheen will go on the Today Show this morning and tell Matt Lauer that he is HIV positive.
It will be a long way from his, "Duh...Winning!" interview he gave a few years ago.
Page Six says that according to celebrity crisis manager Wendy Feldman (who has previously worked with people close to Sheen) the actor has been living with the disease for 10 years.
“He’s had this for a long time,” she told Page Six on Monday. “He’s worked to calibrate his meds and we saw him go off the rails a few years ago. That’s his pattern for the past 10 years.”
As for what to expect from Sheen’s sit-down with Lauer, she warns not to expect too much about his past history with drugs.
“Don’t expect total transparency about all drug use but this is an epidemic in Hollywood,” Feldman warned.
But, with Charlie Sheen live, you never know what you are going to get. One thing NBC likely will get is a big ratings boost and we're still in November sweeps.
