Former 'View' Producer: Rosie O'Donnell is a Bully
A former Producer on ABC's train-wreck 'The View' claims that Rosie O'Donnell got her fired out of spite and was a bully.
Ex-senior producer Jennifer Shepard-Bookman has filed a defamation suit and claims that O'Donnell is a total bully who intimidated staff and even got a producer fired for suspected media leaks, a new lawsuit charges.
The NY Post says that O’Donnell targeted Shepard-Bookman for shifting coverage of the ISIS beheading of US journalist James Foley to co-host Whoopi Goldberg, according to Bookman’s defamation suit filed Thursday in Manhattan Supreme Court.
During the September 2014 incident, O’Donnell went on a tirade while getting right in Shepard-Bookman’s face, the suit says.
“My client started crying. She was scared of Rosie and thought she was going to be assaulted,” said Shepard-Bookman’s attorney, Brian Kennedy.
O’Donnell also got Shepard-Bookman fired out of spite, the suit alleges.
O’Donnell’s lawyer, Nicolle Jacoby, called the claims “baseless.”
