Demoted Anchor Finds Job Outside of TV News
When WVEC demoted morning Anchor Vanessa Coria to nightside Reporter, it didn't take her long to get the hell out of the station.
Three days after getting demoted, Coria, who worked at the station since 2003, found another job.
"Vanessa decided to take a position with a client of the station, The Meridian Group of Virginia Beach, where she will be a public relations counselor. She will transition over to The Meridian Group in the upcoming weeks," said WVEC general manager Kari Jacobs.
