FTVLive told you yesterday that former Philly Sports Don Tollefson was found guilty on all counts for scamming people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars with fake sports packages.

Tollefson was able to con a lot of people, but he couldn't con the jury. 

Jurors deliberated for nearly 11 hours over two days before finding the 62-year-old Tollefson guilty of three felony theft charges and two misdemeanor violations of state charity laws.

Prosecutor Matthew Weintraub said he was not surprised that Tollefson's courtroom performance didn't sway the jury.

"It's time for Don Tollefson to stop talking and start paying," Weintraub said. "He's a narcissist. He has a God complex, and he clearly loves himself more than anyone else in the world."

Tollefson spent about a month in jail after his arrest, then was released and placed on house arrest to await trial. After the verdict, Boylan ordered Tollefson's bail set at $350,000.

Tollefson asked for at least a week to sell sports memorabilia or borrow cash to raise the 10 percent needed to stay out of prison. The judge refused.

"Frankly, Mr. Tollefson, those things should have been done before today," Boylan said.

Tollefson left a Bucks County courtroom in handcuffs Wednesday, he sits in a jail cell Today awaiting sentencing.
