A homeless man showed up at Good Morning America's studios, but he wasn't there to watch the show.

He wanted to kill newly named GMA Anchor Michael Strahan.

The unhinged homeless man armed with a knife demanded to be let into the ABC studios.  

Security men told Andre Johnson, 25, to take a hike when he first demanded to see Strahan, authorities said.

But Johnson returned with a knife — and tried to stab a security guard with the blade.

He was rebuffed and quickly arrested by cops, officials said.

Johnson was taken to the Midtown South stationhouse where he chillingly told investigators: "I was there to kill Michael Strahan,” law enforcement sources said.
