Many in the media fell for the Olympic luger that cried wolf.

Luger Kate Hansen posted a video on YouTube that purportedly showed a wolf on the prowl in a Sochi Olympic dorm.

The video went viral and was featured on a number of newscasts.

But, it turns out the video was a hoax and you can blame Jimmy Kimmel once again.

Reports claim the fake video was another Kimmel prank and as you know he has done it before. 

Kimmel was responsible for tweaking woman who was set on fire after her “roommate” opened a door and sent her crashing into a glass table with lighted candles.
