It seems that most often, Beauty Pageant winners have a goal of working in TV news.

Well, here's a TV News Reporter that won a Beauty Pageant.

Kim Cung, a Reporter at KSNB NBC Nebraska, recently won the title of Miss Nebraska USA and will go onto compete in Miss USA pageant.

Cung competed against 18 other contestants for the title. She said winning takes mental discipline and eating healthy. However, nothing could prepare her for the moment of being announced the winner.

“Sometimes girls practice their winning moment. I have to admit I did. But it didn’t go as planned at all. Emotions just ran high. It’s definitely an out of body experience.”

Somehow, through just some damn good Journalism, NBC Nebraska was able to land an interview with the Beauty Queen that works at their own station.
