It's clear that a lot of what is broadcast as 'news' these days, is really garbage. Nothing with any substance or information that improves your life.

We ran across this tongue-in-cheek (or is it?) column by Greg Schwem in the Huffington Post. Sadly, it reflects TV news more accurately than any of us would care to admit.
