KTRK ABC13 in Houston announced that they were expanding their 10pm weekend newscast to an hour.

The station was excited to offer viewers more news.

interestingly KHOU across the street did their 10PM Saturday newscast, it was an hour as well. 

You have to love how stations will quickly follow the competition.

It happens time and time again in this business.
