The pink slips have been flying around CNN's DC bureau, but sources tell FTVLive these are not budget cuts. 

It appears that Jeff Zucker just wants to get his own people in place and realign the bureau as he sees fit.  

That being said, a number of longtime staffer are getting the boot. Most of those sacked are Producers.

CNN is expected to be filing the jobs with new hires that will include new or different responsibilities.
