Sources tell FTVLive that WETM Reporter Bobby Brooks is leaving the tiny market of Elmira and headed to the NBC O&O in Miami. 

Brooks, who joined WETM  in January of 2011, as a general assignment reporter is headed to WTVJ.

In 2009 he spent his college spring break traveling to Tijuana, Mexico.  There he lived at the Hogar de los Ninos orphanage where he helped construct a brand new housing facility for orphans in Tijuana.

He starts in Miami at the end of the month.
