As FTVLive has pointed out, the networks did well in their coverage of the Boston Bombings.​

Then you have the idiots like Conservative Erik Rush. (FTVLive Note: Earlier we quoted an website that said Rush was a Fox News Contributor. He has been a guest on Fox News, but is not paid by the Network. We have corrected the error.)

Rush responded to the Boston Marathon bombing by suggesting that we round up Saudis and then kill them — but don’t worry, he was mostly joking.

Rush tweeted, “Everybody do the National Security Ankle Grab! Let’s bring more Saudis in without screening them! C’mon! #bostonmarathon.” The columnist, who boasts on his Twitter bio that he “was the first to break the story of Barack Obama’s ties to militant preacher Rev. Jeremiah Wright on a national level,” followed up with a response to someone asking if he was blaming Muslims: “Yes, they’re evil. Kill them all.”

In follow up tweets, he said the remark was “sarcasm, idiot.”

Ummmm... I think we know who the idiot is.​
