Michaela Pereira is joining Chris Cuomo and Kate Bolduan on CNN in New York as the news anchor for the network’s new morning show set to air this spring. Michaela has been with KTLA in Los Angeles for the past nine years, anchoring the market’s number one rated morning newscast. She has been honored with numerous awards for her work both on the show and in the community.
Chris Hayes moves to prime time on MSNBC, taking over the 8pm eastern time slot with his new show, “All In With Chris Hayes.” Chris has been the host of “UP” with Chris Hayes, a weekend political commentary show on MSNBC since August of 2011.
Steve Kornacki, an editor for Salon.com and co-host of “The Cycle” on MSNBC, will take over as host of “UP” weekend mornings on MSNBC.
Dario Melendez makes a big move to ESPN as a sports anchor. Previously, he was the weekend sports anchor and reporter for WISN in Milwaukee.
Janet Rodriguez joins the Telemundo News Network as a national correspondent based in Chicago. Janet had been a reporter for Telemundo’s KTAZ in Phoenix.
Tom Wait comes home to Los Angeles to join KCBS as a reporter. He was previously a reporter for WXYZ in Detroit for nearly five years.
Danielle Vollmar is the new weekend morning meteorologist for WCVB in Boston. Previously she was with KDAF in Dallas forecasting for the evening broadcasts.
Jennifer Mayerle has been promoted to special projects reporter for WGCL in Atlanta where she has been a general assignment reporter since 2006.
Amanda Perez is going home to Texas to join KPRC in Houston as a general assignment reporter. Amanda leaves KFSN in Fresno where she has been a reporter and fill-in anchor.
Liz Dueweke joins KOMO in Seattle as morning anchor. Liz has been the morning anchor for KOKH in Oklahoma City for the past three years.
Ty Brennan becomes the weekend morning anchor and reporter at Fox O&O, KSAZ in Phoenix. For the past year, he has been the Ft. Collins Bureau Chief for KCNC in Denver.
AJ Ross joins WKYC in Cleveland as a general assignment reporter/MMJ. She leaves WTAE in Pittsburgh where she was a freelancereporter.
Janet Kwak moves to San Diego and joins KGTV as a reporter. She leaves KNBC in Los Angeles where she has been a freelance reporter.
Kalee Dionne joins the weather team at KSHB in Kansas City as weekend meteorologist. She has been the weekday morning meteorologist for WIAT in Birmingham for the past three years.
Kirsten Joyce is joining the weekday morning anchor team at KLAS in Las Vegas. Previously, Kirsten was weekend anchor with KCPQ in Seattle.
Denise Wong jumps over 65 markets to join KTNV in Las Vegas as morning reporter. For the last three years, Denise has been an MMJ for KOLO in Reno.
Nikki Ibarra moves up 75 markets to become a general assignment reporter for KOB in Albuquerque. Nikki had been an MMJ for KSBY in Santa Maria.
Tim Pulliam joins the Post-Newsweek station, WJXT in Jacksonville, as a general assignment reporter. Tim was with WIS in Columbia, South Carolina as a reporter.
Julia Dunn joins Sinclair’s WRGB in Albany as morning anchor. For the past three years, she was with WGGB in Springfield, Massachusetts as morning anchor.
A.J. Hilton joins WCTV in Tallahassee as anchor of the weekday evening newscasts. He leaves WSYM in Lansing where he anchored the 5 and 10pm newscasts.
Victoria Johnson moves to KSBY in San Luis Obispo as the weekend anchor and MMJ. Previously, she was an airborne reporter for KFMB in San Diego.
