Today Show Staffer Killed in Train Crash
Jim Lovell worked on NBC's Today Show.
He ran audio along with other jobs at NBC. On Sunday morning, the assignment was special to help set up Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center which is to be lighted on Wednesday.
He took the early train from Cold Spring, N.Y., on the banks of the Hudson River, bound for Manhattan.
He never made it to 30 Rock.
The Metro-North train he was on, whipped around a sharp turn in the Bronx and derailed Sunday morning, killing four and injuring dozens.
