Ethical?
WHP radio in Harrisburg, PA is a conservative radio station that offers up right-wing views and airs shows like Glenn Beck.
The morning guy is RJ Harris, who seems to cheerlead for the GOP, and speak to the MAGA base.
That’s all well in good, as conservative radio appears to do well in many states, including Pennsylvania.
This week, RJ Harris is off from his morning radio show, and filling in for Harris is WHP-TV Chief Meteorologist Tom Russell.
I’m not sure if Russell is continuing to beat the conservative drum, but since he’s on a conservative station, I’m guessing he is.
Should a TV station allow their talent to host radio shows, whether it’s conservative or liberal?
It seems to show a political bias that should never enter a TV newsroom.
Then again, WHP-TV is owned by Sinclair, so I guess this is understandable.
Still, it doesn’t make it right.
